Projects
Here is a sampling of our projects over the years.
Mozambique
Throughout the years, Barb has dedicated time to short-term mission trips, known to her as 'spreading the J.A.M.' (Jesus and Missions). The photos below highlight a special time in Mozambique where the Lord had her preach the Gospel to some local churches and share with the children. It was a divine opportunity to teach the children with stories, singing, games and love, especially since African children are often told to be seen and not heard. So, when she taught, these kids had a such a fantastic time that they told all these friends, and the God kept multiplying and multiplying with lots of fruit. One of the photos is very precious to Barb because of the prophetic symbolism. It is an image of a pastor’s son and Barb. That little boy’s name was Emmanuel, and he gave Barb the biggest hug that she will never forget. It was like Abba Father saying, “I am with you and these children, Barb. Indeed, you are a special mama!”
This was the very first time that these young girls ever got to play with a ball. Can you hear the utter joy and glee as they watched the ball bound, hoped to catch it and do it again and again!
Barb and Emmanuel.
See the young African leader passing out paper and crayons. I can't imagine it, but many times parents have to choose between sending their children down the mountain to fetch a jug of much-needed water or send them to school which cost money that they don't have. And so, for many of these children, it was the first time they had the opportunity to draw on a piece of paper.
National Day of Prayer for Malawi - 9/6/25
Lilongwe, Malawi
How does one person change the culture of a country? Apostle Enesia teaches that it always starts with prayer. Putting this into practice, she organized a national day of prayer in Malawi on September 6, 2025 - just ten days before the election. Word spread quickly, and many women came to intercede, starting a prayer movement that continues to this day. Through teaching, equipping, and empowerment, they are transforming lives, villages, cities, and the nation.
“
Every prayer the Women on Mission team prayed on 9/6, the National Day of Prayer for the Malawi elections, was answered! None of the leaders involved in evil activities were elected. The opposition conceded a few days later. There is so much joy in Malawi. God is with us!

National Day of Prayer for Malawi
USA National Day of Prayer in Raleigh, North Carolina
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance designated by the US Congress. Held on the first Thursday in May, it calls on people to turn to God in prayer. On May 1, 2025, Barbara Koob and Apostle Enesia Chitheka traveled to Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina, to pray for America. Together, they repented for the nation's sins and asked God to bless the country so that it may continue to serve as a beacon of light to advance the Gospel.
Prayer Retreat at PRMI’s Community of the Cross, Black Mountain, North Carolina
In May 2025, Barb and Enesia traveled to the mountains of Western North Carolina to pray for Women On Mission International. During the trip, they visited PRMI’s (Presbyterian Reformed Ministries International) Community of the Cross.
There, they asked for prayer that God would provide land for a training and equipping center in Malawi, specifically asking Him to do for them what He did for PRMI at the Community of the Cross. They also visited the Prayer Cathedral and prayer-walked the ministry's amazing trails.
Prayer at the N.C. State Legislative Building, 2025
When Apostle Enesia Chitheka and Pastor Kenneth Malunga first arrived in the North Carolina, Barb took them to the N.C. Legislative Building for a tour of our state capital and government building. There, they met with the N.C. State Prayer Caucus Leader Sharon Pearce. Both Enesia and Kenneth were honored to pray for her, our state and our country as they feel America has blessed so many through her giving and sharing the gospel to other nations. And likewise, we are so grateful to Enesia and Kenneth that they could come here and pray for us, as we are all God’s family, brothers and sisters in Christ who need each other.
